Our third offering of Itasca exhibits aromas of ripe yellow peach, honeycrisp apple, lemon zest, chamomile tea, honey and hay on first inspection. A very balanced weighting on the palate includes both citrusy acid and good weight associated with sur lie aging from neutral barrel fermentation. Lingering flavors on the finish of pineapple, key lime pie and clover honey round out this wine of unique character.
Pair with shell fish, grilled white flaky fish and pasta aglio e olio.
